A new adaptation of a Chekhov classic by Inua Ellams set during the Nigerian civil war.

2) The Red Shoes Various locations throughout the UK

Matthew Bourne's first ballet production.

Currently on

3) Uncle Vanya Harold Pinter Theatre

2020 is clearly a Chekhov year - Toby Jones stars in this classic

4) Leopoldstadt Wyndham Theatre

From: 25th January

A new play by Tom Stoppard (Anything he writes is genius)

5) Far Away Donmar Warehouse

From: 6th February

A revival of Caryl Churchill's masterpiece 20 years on. (Awesome theatre)

6)Endgame The Old Vic

From: 27th January

Daniel Radcliffe and Alan Cumming star in Samuel Beckett's weird and wonderful work

(Endgame is combined with his other work: 'Rough for Theatre II')

7) The Glass Menagerie The Barbican Theatre

From: 5th June

Isabelle Huppert stars in this slightly lesser known Tennessee Williams. I'm excited about anything directed by Ivo Van Hove.

8) Blithe Spirit Duke of York Theatre

From: 5th March

Very intriguing to see Jennifer Saunders starring in this classic by Noel Coward.

9) The Prince of Egypt Dominion Theatre

From: 5th February

The only musical on my list. This new number is set to be a hit, written by the composer of Wicked - Stephen Schwartz

10) To Kill a Mockingbird Gielgud Theatre

From: 21st May

A new adaption by Aaron Sorkin of Harper Lee's beloved book. This is a must-see
